Setting up a Dial Up connection in
Windows XP
 |
From
the Start menu, select Control Panel. Double-click on the Network
Connections icon.

Under the
"Network Tasks" panel, select Create
a new connection to start the "New
Connection Wizard".

Click
Next to advance to the "Network
Connection Type" window.
Choose Connect to the Internet and click Next. |

In
the "Getting Ready" window, choose Set
up my connection manually and click Next. |

In
the "Internet Connection" window,
choose Connect using a dial-up modem and
click Next. |

In
the "Connection Name" window, type
DataBoss in the ISP Name field and click Next. |

In
the "Phone Number to Dial" window, type
in the phone number for the modem pool at
DataBoss, which is 380-3222 and click Next.

In
the "Internet Account Information"
window, type in the username you selected
at DataBoss in the User name field.
Type in your password you selected at
DataBoss in both the Password and Confirm
password fields and click Next. |

After
finishing the "New Connection Wizard",
check the Add a shortcut to this connection to
my desktop checkbox for easy access to the
DataBoss connection icon from the desktop and
then click Finish. |
